Warwick Rock Case Reviews 5

It's all black and features a giant 'Pianos 'n' Stuff' logo on it. I've been a bass and keyboard player for a long time now, all the way back to when I was about 5 years old. I'll be going on an 8 month tour with my band starting in September 2010: www.myspace.com/ribbons. It's got 6 pockets on it, too, so there's plenty of space.

I got it because I needed a case for my Fender Jazz that wasn't a hard case that took up a lot of room in a college dorm. I got it from Pianos 'n' Stuff as the case says, and I believe I only paid around $40 for the whole thing.

I like, first of all, that it's probably the best-padded gig bag out there, at least as far as I've seen, so I feel very comfortable carrying it around to gigs and rehearsals and such, and it's a heck of a trip saver over a hard case. The main pocket is even big enough that you can fit a Markbass or Genz Benz amp head in there and get 2/3 of your rig on your back. Save the hands for the cab and/or effects. It also features thick padded straps to carry it on your back or a side handle for when you feel like schlepping it one handed. Also comes with two locks, complete with keys, which is just icing on the cake.

Some of the seams aren't as strong as they could be, but that's only something I'm noticing after 6+ years of owning this. For $40, I'm happy to have a case for this long, and I don't mind restitching a few things. Nothing's happened yet that would render it anything less than useful.

Fantastic! It's only after 6 years that some of the seams are starting to come apart, and that probably only gives it a 4.75 instead of 5 stars, so I'll still round up and rate it a 5.

Overall, one of the best gig bags out on the market today short of getting one special ordered. And it's only $40.

Got this for a bargain for an extra $99 when I bough my bass at Park Music Perth

Its not a hard case but its as good as one the only difference is that its material on the outside inside of leather but still rock hard underneath

Its all good

Its as tough as nails, just as godd as a hard case, it does the job well

It comes with a backstrap for long journeys inbetween gigs, a music pocket outside and two other inside for whatever, bit of food maybe, and nice velvety lining inside to keep your axe snug as a bug, and not bounce about.
